The world's most precious liquid
We have talked to charity: water on April 1, 2020, when the Covid-19 outbreak hit its first peak. This small British-based non-profit has brought positive change to countries like Ethiopia, Rwanda, and other Sub-Saharan Africa countries, as well as Asia and South America, where access to fresh drinking water is still scarce in some areas.
As we all washed hands more often than ever before during the pandemic, the charity: water team kept their minds on the millions of people living their lives without easy access to it. Their positive strategy, “hope over guilt,” and broad-range ways to participate and support their projects are what we love above all.
How do they propose to tackle this water crisis? In collaboration with local authorities, charity: water seeks the most suitable solutions in specific areas, whether it is building a well, a pipe system, a BioSend Filter, or a system that can harvest rainwater. We will be bringing you a follow-up interview soon with charity: water. In the meantime, go and check out their many ways how to participate.
