Our love for nature and outdoors is why we always seek the best, lasting, and environmentally-friendly products. Here are some European and British brands that captured our attention.

CLOTHING

Finisterre (UK)

Like Patagonia, Finisterre is a B-Corporation certified brand. Founded in the UK back in 2003, it has grabbed our attention by their recent collaboration with the Natural History Museum.

Finisterre uses natural, organic, and their so-called “regenerated” fibers, which represent recycled polyester and polyamide (Nylon) used in their waterproof and insulated jackets, as well as swimwear.

Their ECONYL® that is regenerated nylon is sourced from landfills and oceans.

Twothirds (Spain)

Originating in Barcelona, Spain, Twothirds team believes in European quality the same way we do. But what we really love about this brand is their pre-order system! It has become clear to us that the clothing industry is rich in overproduction and generation of waste. However, if you are one of those people who care about waste reduction and you do not mind waiting for your order, than Twothirds have the perfect solution! You can pre-order your garments and help them prevent any creation of unnecessary waste of energy, fabrics, water, time, waste-dye, and labor.

Voilà, you have the perfect solution to the environmental crisis! So if you do not know them yet, make sure you check them out.

Mud Jeans (Netherlands)

Mud Jeans from the Netherlands went even further. They began to lease a pair of jeans! In the harmful fashion industry, they are truly unique. Joining the circular economy model, they fight overproduction by renting you a pair of jeans for a year, which you can exchange for new ones after 12 months of use for a small monthly fee.

Mud Jeans also eliminated toxic chemicals such as potassium permanganate from their production, replacing them with techniques, such as laser, ozone, and E-flow. The few chemicals still in use in their production are non-toxic and Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified.

UNDERWEAR

Organic Basics (Denmark)

Another B-Corporation certified brand and one that is part of the international organization 1% for the Planet.
Their TENCEL™ is an eco-friendly fiber made from responsibly sourced wood pulp and feels fantastic on the skin.

It is biodegradable and made with the use of non-toxic organic solvent. We specifically love their minimalistic and beautifully cut bras.

SKINCARE & ORAL

Phaedra Botanicals (Estonia)

As an Estonia-based company with production in France, Phaedra Botanicals soon joined the circular economy movement by collecting their packaging to eliminate waste and prevent further pollution at sea. They also took a step beyond organic when they started to test their ingredients for external contaminants, such as dangerous heavy metals, to offer genuinely non-toxic skincare.

Georganics (UK)

Hand-crafted in small batches, Georganics oral care does not use SLS and Triclosan, which you could end up ingesting but solely pure, natural, and organic ingredients all packed in zero-waste packaging.

We specifically love their zero-waste and plastic-free activated charcoal dental floss, which is fluoride-free.
